Fried chicken is Noodle Bar’s large format meal. It feeds 4-8 people. The meal includes two whole fried chickens, one southern style and one Korean style, and it comes with mu shu pancakes, baby carrots, red ball radishes, bibb lettuce, four sauces, and an herb basket. Guests are encouraged to eat as they please, from making wraps with the pancakes to eating the chicken straight-up. The southern style chicken is fried with buttermilk and spices. The Korean style chicken is triple fried and served with a light spicy glaze.


What if I want to cancel my reservation?
Please cancel by clicking on the cancellation link in your confirmation email. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations. If you cancel fewer than 48 hours in advance, or do not attend your reservation, you will be charged $150.

Can I make two fried chicken reservations and bring more than 8 guests?
No. The largest party size we can accommodate is 8 people.

What if I need to change my party size?
Email friedchixresy@gmail.com regarding any party size change or questions. please note, your final headcount must be made within 24 hours of your reservation Tuesday-Friday and by Friday for reservations Saturday-Monday.

Are there beverage pairings?
No, but your server can recommend wine, beer, sake or soju.

Are there any vegetarian alternatives to the fried chicken?
No, but vegetarians may order items from the regular noodle bar menu.

How much time does it take? How long is the typical fried chicken?
Guests typically take two hours to enjoy the meal.

Can I order the fried chicken to go?
No, not yet.

May I bring an outside cake to my fried chicken meal?
Milk Bar cakes or pies are the only outside food options allowed. You may pre-order a cake or pie from Milk Bar (located across 13th street from Ssäm Bar) and pick it up on your way to the restaurant. We do not allow candles.

What should I do if I am running late?
There is a 15 minute grace period before we relinquish the table. please make sure your entire party arrives at your reservation time. If you will be late, please call our reservation hotline: 212-500-0831.

When is the new day available online?
10:00 am.

What happens to cancellations / is there a waiting list / do you allow walk-ins?
Canceled reservations return to the reservation system. There is no wait list and we do not allow walk-ins for the fried chicken.

May I make a reservation for someone else? Or purchase a reservation from someone else? Or sell my reservation?
No. The person making the reservation must attend the meal.

Can I make a reservation by phone?
No. Sorry but we only take reservations online.

Can I upgrade my existing fried chicken reservation to the caviar & fried chicken meal?
Yes. Please email nbquestions@momofuku.com and allow for 48 hour notice
